I just had the best quesadilla of my life here. Full of asada and sour cream. I am amazed. I came here after a concert nearby and I'm SO happy I did! There was a huge line, but the guys working that night helped everyone super quickly. I was able to find a seat inside and enjoy my tacos, burrito, and quesadilla with a Mexican coke. Their ASADA, POLLO, and CABEZA ARE ALL SO GOOD! Their salsas are very fresh and not too spicy. Everything was DELICIOUS about this place! I am sooooo coming back here. What a good find, I highly recommend!

Best service! Best burritos ever! I have very peek memories at this place and the food if phenomenal with the best staff! Just went after a music festival tonight and it's just amazing as last time I was in this city. Just remember it's only cash... but that helps the line move so fast so it's a plus and oh don't forget to ask for the salsa! Both are so amazing!

El Farolito named appropriately because I would go very faro way for this burrito. Or at least all the way to the mission because the one in North Beach isn't as good. I don't know how they could be so different but they just are. As far as the hype surrounding the original in the mission it's very legit and well deserved. It's how no frills Mexican food should be. Quick, fast, greasy, relatively cheap, and huge portions. The menu has everything you need but it's not too extensive. Most importantly, let's talk flavor. I had the bosses burrito with shrimp AND Al Pastor. That's an outrageous combination and it was so special. The suiza is a quesadilla essentially unless you get the super version. You can get the super version of the burrito too. And I think super taco? Idk, just get it super if you can. It's pretty simple. El Farolito has a case for best Mexican food in SF. I've found a lot of Mexican food very synonymous but this place stands out. It's a top 3 Burrito in the city. Want to know the top 3? You have to pay for that information, sorry. Congrats El Farolito, you didn't need ny vote at all but you got it anyways. (4.75 Stars)

Very reliable burrito spot - meat is always nice and juicy, sauce slaps, and to top it off this place always seems to be open. When you go in it's pretty narrow and cramped but there's more seating in the back. I think I got the beef tongue (lengua) burrito on this day!

My favorite Mexican place for burritos in SF. Super burritos are filled to the brim with sour cream, guacamole, and delicious, tender meat--you can choose from a variety of meats, including carne asada and al pastor. The tender, fatty meats complement the acidic salsas they give you very well. Service is no frills but fast--after ordering, you wait and they call out the number on the receipt you get. There's indoor seating and free water. Ambiance is lively as it is in the Mission district; it's a very hole-in-the-wall vibe, which is perfect. Prices are very reasonable, and for $10 you get a burrito that is meatier and tastier than one you could get at Chipotle. Cash only! Don't use the ATM in the restaurant--I've had a friend lose their debit card while trying to withdraw cash. I've also been to the location in Oakland for their quesadillas, which were killer and a reasonable price as well.

Make sure you have a huge appetite before coming here! I got the carnitas burrito, which was huge and quite yummy. I liked that the burrito wasnt soggy despite the size. It tasted super fresh, too.

CASH ONLY. Classic Mission burrito spot Emphasis on the NO FRILLS - this place is a hole in the wall, in the best possible way. I wouldn't change a thing. HUGE burritos, made on the spot Lots of seating - indoor and outdoor Same-named bar next door, but must order food from the food side. Right off the BART stop in Mission. CHEAP, DELICIOUS, MEMORABLE This burrito was as big as my head, and I had no problem polishing the entire thing.

Classic spot in SF mission. Hole in the wall. Cash only. Generous portions and hits the spot every time. There's plenty of seating at the back (outside) and a couple of tables in the restaurant itself. I usually go for the tongue and intestines but you can't go wrong with any meat really.
